Woolf Studies Annual is a refereed journal publishing substantial new scholarship on the work of this major writer and her milieu. Each volume includes several articles, reviews of new books, and an up-to-date guide to library special collections of interest to researchers. The Annual also occasionally features edited transcriptions of previously unpublished manuscripts.

"You see you kind of belong to us, and what you do matters enormously": The 137 letters from readers transcribed and annotated by Beth Rigel Daugherty that comprise this volume of WSA construct a far more diverse readership for Woolf than has hitherto been assumed. Dated from 1915 through 1940, these letters from the files of the Monks House Papers at Sussex University demonstrate that all of Woolf’s books appealed to readers from many walks of life.
